On Triple Divide Peak, the Continental Divide meets the Northern Divide. Here, water can flow to the Atlantic, Pacific, or Arctic Oceans. Fortunately, people have left the park almost unchanged. As a result, these mountains can have 100 inches of annual snowfall. The clashing winds also contribute to extreme temperature changes. A nearby town holds the world record for temperature change.
