how did the Indian Reorganization Act improve the life of Native Americans

Answers

Answer:

it provided the return of surplus lands to the tribes rather than to homesteaders. It encouraged written constitutions and charters giving Indians the power to manage their internal occurrences

Answer:

In contrast to the horrific Indian Removal Act, the Indian Reorganization Act and the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act aimed to correct many of the mistakes made during the nineteenth century. The Indian Reorganization Act passed in 1934 and gave Native Americans the right to open businesses and created a system through which Native Americans could have access to vocational training and credit. The Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act was even bigger, as it granted tribes the right to govern their own territory (limited tribal sovereignty) while still giving them access to federal money.

Is anyone from here doing witchcraft? And do the spellings work ? Could you just explain ?
I have to write an essay about witchcraft :)

Answers

I am actually practicing witchcraft. Yes the spells work. From my experience casting spells on other people is bad and it can result on it happening to you or you losing something.*you usually get a consequence* Some spells involve different things like candles, or herbs. Some spell don't require anything but for you to recite them. Us of the craft also like to make things like moonwater and blacksalt. We use moon water for plants to  bless them and help them grow strong. We use moon water to get rid of bad vibes and negativity. We use moon water for protection and many other things. We use black salt not just for food but with ours spells and also to drive away evil spirits.

We make books called Book of Shadows. In the book of shadows we write about our life experiences, spells, chants, moon phases and many other things important to us. Book of Shadows is usually personal.  As a witch i have heard rude comments like were evil and worship the devil? But this is not true we work and communicate with the earth. WE are connected to the earth and moons and sometimes planets. Some of us even have gods and goddesses. Although we have some evil witches that use the craft to do bad things. I believe dark and light are equal. Without darkness we can not have light. Sometimes the darkness is beautiful and sometimes the light is blinding. I use the craft to do good. We also have altars altars contain symbols, books of spells, and plants. * It is different for every witch and you dont' have to have one*  We have witches who can craft freely and Closet witches. Closet witches basically to the craft in private because it is not accepted in their family or where they live. Closet witches hide their practice to because their shy or to protect themselves.

This is all i can tell you. Hope it helped. Bye! )O(

the U.S. "fell back" from daylight-saving time to what civil time?

Answers

By the Energy Policy Act of 2005, daylight saving time (DST) was extended in the United States beginning in 2007. As from that year, DST begins on the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November.

The U.S. “fell back” from daylight-saving time to Standard civil time.

What is the time?

Time can be said as a measure of the timing which took in performing an action. It is often counted with seconds, minutes, or hours.

Making greater utilization of the  Daylight and using that energy to conserve is, often known, Daylight Saving Time. During the summer, the people of the United Nations adjusted their clocks to shift an hour of sunlight from the afternoon to the evening.

Civil time is a term used in contexts to describe legislative time frames set by people to describe timezone as displayed by clocks.

But soon after this system was not that much effective as it was thought of and was again back being shifted towards the standard time that was based in different zones.

What are examples of legalism still in china today?

Answers

Answer:

Yes legalism is still around.  It is seen today in China in many different aspects.  An example of how it is still seen today is that when my parents were living in China they witnessed executions and other harsh punishments being placed on individuals.  Legalism today is not the same as it once was as it has changed over the years.

Legalism is seen, to a lesser extent to what it once was, however in China the philosophy  of legalism still exists in their governmental structure, political system and judicial systems.  The government still inflicts judgement and punishment as it was in previous years however they do not hold as harsh of consequences as they once did.

For us living in the western world it is easy for us to look in and identify legalism within Chinese systems however for people living in China it is harder for them to see it at the same extent because this is what they have grown to know and they do not know other ways.  Most Chinese citizens have limited access to outside information to compare their systems to other countries.

In China, you can still see the effects of legalism by the way we see how they respond to crimes.  For example some of the punishment is stricter than we see in North America.   Also, you can see the effects of legalism in China by the way the people respond to the government.  Generally citizens in China fear the government because of the consequences that would be initiated if they disobey.  For example when the students stood up against the government in Tianamen Square in 1989, the students were seen as rebels and attacked by the military, killed, thrown in prison and several had to flee the country.

Legalism is still prevalent today as seen through these examples that we have shared although it is not to the same extent as it was when it was first created in the warring states period.
